Description
Develops a thorough clinical understanding of motivating operations, the environmental variables that alter both the reinforcing value of consequences and the frequency of behaviors that have produced those consequences. Distinguishes establishing operations from abolishing operations, contrasts motivating operations with discriminative stimuli, and expands on both value-altering and behavior-altering effects using clinical examples.
Learners will strengthen their ability to identify and respond to shifting motivational variables during sessions.
