The Florida ABA & Medicaid Compliance In-Service Package – 2026 is a six-module educational program developed for RBTs, BCBAs, BCaBAs, and other ABA agency personnel. It provides an overview of selected compliance topics relevant to behavioral health and Medicaid-funded ABA services in Florida, including Medicaid Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA), False Claims and Program Integrity; Duty to Report Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation; Incident and Adverse/Critical Incident Reporting; HIPAA, Privacy & Confidentiality; Cultural Competency; and Medicaid Documentation & Billing Integrity. Content emphasizes awareness and practical application within ABA service settings.

Upon completion of this package, participants should be able to:
- Describe selected compliance principles relevant to Florida Medicaid-funded ABA services.
- Recognize common fraud, waste, abuse, documentation, billing, privacy, and confidentiality risks.
- Distinguish statutory duties to report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation from agency, payer, and regulatory incident-reporting processes.
- Identify basic principles of culturally responsive and respectful service delivery.
- Recognize situations that may require reporting, consultation, or escalation in accordance with applicable laws, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
- Identify appropriate resources and authorities for obtaining additional guidance when compliance questions arise.
