12-Course RBT Professional Development Bundle

This online professional development bundle is designed to strengthen the clinical, ethical, and practical skills Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) use every day in ABA service delivery. The bundle provides a structured overview of core behavior principles, function-based intervention, data collection, therapeutic relationships, professional communication, supervision, ethics, client privacy, and staff wellness.

Each course is offered as an individual 1-PDU professional development event, for a total of 12 PDUs upon successful completion of the full bundle. Publication Date: May 28, 2026

The Bundle Includes:

1. Reinforcement & Punishment: A Practical Guide for RBTs

A practical review of the four quadrants of operant conditioning with real ABA examples and ethical considerations.

2. Breaking Down Behavior: ABCs and Function in Practice

A focused training on antecedents, behaviors, consequences, motivating variables, and the four functions of behavior.

3. Motivating Operations in Practice: Improving Behavior Outcomes

A clinical look at establishing and abolishing operations and how motivation affects behavior during sessions.

4. Teaching Functional Communication: A Behavior Replacement Approach

A function-based guide to Functional Communication Training, manding, prompt fading, reinforcement schedules, and generalization.

5. Managing Stress and Burnout in ABA: Strategies for RBTs

A training on recognizing burnout, understanding stress in ABA work, and using strategies that support treatment integrity and staff well-being.

6. Pairing for Success: Building Strong Therapeutic Relationships

A course on building, maintaining, and repairing rapport through effective pairing and therapeutic relationship development.

7. Data That Drives Decisions: From Observation to Insight

A practical training on accurate data collection, recording methods, IOA, and using data to guide clinical decisions.

8. The Power of Communication: Strengthening Caregiver and Team Relationships

A professional communication course focused on caregiver updates, team collaboration, objective language, and scenario-based communication.

9. Ethics in Action: Professional Boundaries in ABA

An ethics-focused training on boundaries, dual relationships, ethical decision-making, and real-world application of the RBT Ethics Code.

10. Working in Sync: Collaborating with Supervisors

A course on supervision, feedback, reporting expectations, written communication, and using supervision for clinical growth.

11. Navigating Clinical Differences: A Professional Approach to Disagreement

A professional development course on handling disagreement, escalation pathways, and maintaining clinical integrity.

12. Client Privacy: Maintaining Professional Standards

A confidentiality-focused training covering privacy, HIPAA considerations, and protecting client information in everyday ABA practice.

Instructor Information

Leah Argote, BCBA serves as the ACE Coordinator and Professional Development Instructor. Leah has worked in Applied Behavior Analysis since 2014 and has served as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2019. Her professional experience includes overseeing ABA services, developing treatment programming, supporting RBT implementation, conducting clinical assessments, and promoting ethical, high-quality care.

PDU Documentation

Participants must enter their full name exactly as it appears in their BACB account and provide their BACB Account ID, which is different from their RBT certification number. Accurate information is required for PDU documentation to be issued correctly.
